Announcing the winning captains this season
We’re excited to share that Sofia Guzman and Heidi McMillan have been selected as co-recipients of the Boise Club Tennis Leadership Scholarship! 🎉
Both captains were chosen through votes from players and team mentors for showing outstanding leadership, sportsmanship, and support for their teammates and the broader Club Tennis community. Their positivity, encouragement, and steady example have helped set the tone for what this program is all about.
The voting was incredibly close — every captain finished within just one vote of one another. Each played an important role in the success of the season, helping build a team culture that’s supportive, inclusive, and fun for everyone involved.
As co-winners, Sofia and Heidi will each receive a $375 college scholarship, with funds paid directly to the college of their choice to support their continued education. Congrats!
